One place that people love to visit is Saratoga Springs, which is home to the famous Saratoga Race Course. This year’s equestrian racing season kicks off on Friday, July 24th and runs until September 7th.
About the Famous Race Course
The month long equestrian racing season that takes place at the Saratoga Race Course is popular with people from the Capital Region and beyond. The track is open 6 days a week (it is closed on Tuesdays), with races kicking off at 1:00pm with the exception of Wednesdays and Thursdays which start at 12:25pm. The biggest racing event of the year at the track is The Travers Stakes. This year it falls on Saturday, August 29th.
